Policies

General Policy
Resort complimentary amenities might not be available at the time of your stay. Grand Targhee Resort will not issue refunds for unavailable complimentary amenities. EVERY EFFORT WILL BE MADE TO SATISFY SPECIAL ROOM REQUESTS; HOWEVER, THEY ARE NOT GUARANTEED. ROOM NUMBER REQUESTS CANNOT BE HONORED AT THIS TIME.
Written Cancellation Policy
All cancellation fees will be applied per room. Additional fees may apply when you modify a reservation. No-shows, early departures, and unused nights are nonrefundable All lift ticket purchases, including those bundled with lodging packages at a discounted rate, are strictly non-refundable. New promotions will not be applied to existing reservations. All applicable fees will be charged for cancelling a reservation to re-book at a lesser rate. Reservations booked using the CYBER MONDAY are non-refundable. Reservations may be cancelled by Grand Targhee Resort, for any or no cause or reason. In the event of cancellation by the Resort, reservations will be re-booked, relocated, or refunded in full. Winter & Summer Seasons (Except Holidays, see Winter Holidays cancellation policy below) Cancellations made outside 45 days of arrival date will be refunded less a $75 processing fee. Cancellations made within 45 to 15 days of the arrival date forfeit their 1st night’s stay plus tax. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival date forfeit the entire cost of the stay. Tower Suite Policy: Cancellations made outside of 45 days of the arrival date will forfeit their 1st night's stay plus tax. Cancellations made within 45 to 15 days of the arrival date will have 50% of every night refunded but the first. In the unlikely event a reservation is cancelled within 14 days of the arrival date, the entire cost of the stay will be forfeited. Winter Holidays Christmas & New Year’s Holiday Period: December 24, 2025 – January 4, 2026 Martin Luther King Weekend: January 16 – 19, 2026 President’s Day Weekend: February 13 - 16, 2026 • Cancellations made outside 14 days of arrival date forfeit their 1st night’s stay plus tax • In the unlikely event a reservation is cancelled within 14 days of arrival date, the entire cost of the stay will be forfeited. TARGHEE FEST AND BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL: . *Stays during the Targhee Fest and the Bluegrass Festival are subject to our Festival Cancellation Policy. Cancellations made outside 14 days of arrival date forfeit their 1st night’s stay plus tax. If a reservation is cancelled within 14 days of arrival date, the entire cost of the stay will be forfeited.

- At time of booking: 1st night’s stay plus tax per room booked - 45 days prior to arrival: Remaining balance due per room booked - If booked within 45 days of arrival date: Entire balance will be due at the time of booking
Check In
Guests must be 18 or older to check-in for a reservation. Check-in process can only be completed by the person(s) outlined on the reservation. No person(s) other than those listed on the reservation will be allowed to check in. Valid government-issued photo ID, credit card, and vehicle information are required to check-in. You may check-in any time after 4:00 pm.
Check Out
Check Out time is 11:00AM. Late check-outs may be available for an additional fee. Guests who stay later than the defined checkout time will be charged for an additional night’s stay.
Pets Policy
Dogs are only allowed in Targhee Lodge and designated units in the Teewinot Lodge with an additional fee. Only dogs are permitted at a maximum of two. If the unit booked is not dog friendly, you may be required to pay to upgrade to a dog friendly room. No refunds will be issued for changes to rooms of lesser value to accommodate a dog. Emotional support animals will be subject to the same policies as dogs. Our current fees are $25/night for 1 dog and $35/night for 2 dogs. This fee will be charged at check-in.
Other Policy
***TRAVEL INSURANCE *** Grand Targhee Resort has partnered with Red Sky Travel Insurance to provide SkiTrip Preserver travel insurance coverage to our guests. SkiTrip Preserver provides cancellation and interruption services as well as emergency assistance and travel services. Protect yourself in the event of travel delays and last-minute family emergencies such as illness, injury, or death of a family member. For details on coverage visit www.trippreserver.com. ***TRAVEL INSURANCE PURCHASE RULES*** - EFECTIVE DATE: The policy will become effective at 12:01am the day after purchase. - REFUNDS: Travel insurance premium will be refundable up to 14 days after purchase. - FULL COVERAGE: Add travel insurance at the time of your lodging/activity booking OR up to 21 days after your initial deposit. All guests must be fit for travel at the time of purchase. See below special considerations for Lack of Snow Coverage. - PARTIAL COVERAGE: Add travel insurance any time prior to final payment is processed. Pre-existing Condition Exclusion Waiver may not be included. - LACK OF SNOW COVERAGE | SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: Coverage only applies to stays between December 15 – March 30.
